  OK. This store is clean. It has many items not available in other local stores. Other than that I have had many poor experiences with out of date , on sale items. I have given up buying "fresh" fish here. Fully half the fish I buy is bad and I need to return it for refund. I don't buy fish there anymore. Since they made self service checkouts available there is ALWAYS a wait at the only 1 or 2 opened human-manned checkouts, which are the ones I use. I blame management for this cost cutting/customer-be-damned decision. Then when I check out they tell me the good news that I can save $.20-per gallon if I use their gas station. Every time I try this the pumps do not read my card. I have replaced the card, I have scanned, dipped, and typed in the acct number with no recognition by the reader. I ask for help and am told to add a zero at the end of the number. Same result. "your account is invalid". Bottom line, I avoid Lowes Food unless I need an item not found elsewhere. Thankfully there are only a few, and only a few times a year I shop at Lowes.
